Aurora Aksnes was born on 15 June 1996 in Stavanger Norway. The name she is most commonly used for her professional work is Aurora and occasionally stylized using the letters in uppercase as AURORA. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves is an album released in May 2015 by Decca Records. It has been praised by the blogs and the press. Half the World Away, by the Oasis band, was released for John Lewis Christmas advertisements and Nature Boy by Nat King Cole are among the artist's high-profile recordings. Aurora Aksnes' first musical memories involve finding a tiny piano that was in her basement and becoming enthralled by the sounds it made.
